Thanks to Colby Wells of Colorado for his purchase of our pen of three Aubrac bulls at the Grassfed Exchange. He direct markets grass-finished beef to customers around the Steamboat Springs area. We are excited to have our genetics be a part of his program. Visit www.rockinjcattle.com to see how they are changing the way people view agriculture.
CATTLE FOR SALE

These young bulls have everything needed to produce those easy-keeping cows that are becoming more sought after everyday. And with Aubrac influence, you will get a great outcross to British breeds without sacrificing muscle, milk, or effeciency. Not to mention when bred Angus, the calves will be black!

While most yearling bulls seem to "melt" after being turned out on cows, these guys have mass, depth, and flesh that has been put on naturally. Not fed on like like the majority of the bulls on the market today.

#921 Bull

Polled, 87.5% Aubrac

Maximus x 1L (Dam to Traffic Jam)

Born May, 2009

You won't find a bull anywhere that's as naturally easy-fleshing and soggy as #921. He is a full brother to the outstanding herd sire Shoshone from Ficke's. We have a full sib embryo bull to 921 for sale also. The flush of the great 1L produced four full sisters that we are retaining in our herd.
921 is SOLD- Thanks to Scott Fredrickson, Mountain Standard Livestock- MT for purchasing this exciting, polled herdsire prospect!

#922 Bull

Dehorned, 93.75% Aubrac

Maximus x PA86

Born May, 2009

922 is SOLD to Colby Wells, Rockin J Cattle- CO.

902 is SOLD to Rockin J Cattle.

#902 Bull

Dehorned, 72% Aubrac

Max x FCC 704 (Traffic Jam 1st calf heifer)

Born April, 2009

The remaining 28% of #902's genetics is comprised of Red Angus, Hereford, and Gelbvieh. The Aubrac blood itself is enough to give your calves a pop, but #902 has Hybrid Vigor with a twist. He will work great on red cows and should throw all solid colors.

Today's ag operation is facing uncertain and troubling economic times. Change seems to come daily- yesterday was different than the day before it, and tomorrow won't be the same as today.

At SixMile we are embracing change by using a variety of low-input practices to increase profitability. If this concept is of interest to you, please contact us to find out more.
